Grade 4 Class Raises Money for Disaster Relief in Fort McMurray
On May 9 and 10th, 2016, the Grade 4 class held two hot dog sales to raise money for emergency disaster relief in Fort McMurray. Their original goal was to raise $300.00. As word of the fundraiser spread, volunteers fromt he community came to help out with donations of hot dogs and buns, pizza and their time. Even the fire department came out to help!
The Grade 4 class raised $4687.00 in donations. The Junior ATB Leadership Team counted the money and cheques for the Grade 4 class.
