WRSD School Fees:
There are no mandatory School Fees at Breton Elementary.
Other School Fees:
Field trips - Parent Council dontates $500 per class to cover a good portion of field trip fees (usually the transportation). The remaining cost is then charged out to families to cover any entry/ticket fees. Parents will be notified well in advance of each trip.
Some of our yearly field trips and costs are outlined below. Please note that these are not exact costs, as prices/fees can change, or may depend on the activity or size of the class.
Skiing (grades 4, 5, 6) - between $35 - $45 (depending on amount of equipment needed to be rented)
Hockey Hooky - depending on ticket costs it usually around $30 - $35
Grade 6 Camp YoWoChAs (if still able to attend): between $70 - $80 per student
Swimming Lessons: These are usually subsidized by the West End Swimming Pool society, and will only cost between $5.00 and $10.00.
Archery - We have an extra curricular archery team. Fees will be charged to cover the cost of tournament entry and transportation. Parents will be notified well in advance of each trip. Regular school fees must be paid for students to participate in these activities.
